Hi folks, I see some raised hands, you can pop your question in here or mail me directly and I will address at the break

Could I travel to, say London for research, without asking UD to pay for my flight? So I plan to pay for the flight but use the research funds from UD for renting a flat etc.

Maybe the Submit Your Application box should be at the very end of the document instead of the top of the page….?

41:57
Dorothy, that would be great. Unfortunately, there are limitations in what we can control on the screen. However, things are always changing/improving and we will keep an eye out for that option if we can move the button.

44:14
Thanks Kelly. I was just thinking that Meagan said it was a common reason for user error so I thought perhaps moving the box might help

Megan,

45:06
Thanks for this info....did I hear you say that when uploading approval does a faculty member need approval from their Chair & Dean.

45:57
Just to double-check:1) So it's possible to be reimbursed if you weren't able to use your Pcard for some expense during the trip?2) If I travel for work-related purposes (e.g., to an academic conference) but will not request any reimbursement from UD (no cost to UD), I still need to submit an application for approval to attend? Thanks / Bill

Altour? I thought it was Options...

46:33
But how do I rent a flat?

46:54
Does this travel company incorporate a carbon-offset program either automatically or optionally?

48:16
Meghan, At the end of your demo, you mentioned somewhere online that we can see information about how to complete the travel form. Where online is that information?

49:06
Hi Dorothy - you are correct that it’s Options Travel. UDRI still uses Altour for their reservations, but the rest of the University should use Options Travel.

50:12
Thx Meghan!

Hi Shannon - here’s the link to the University’s Travel Process and Procedure page. It should link directly to the individual travel application process. https://udayton.edu/international/ed_abroad_partners_exchanges/travel_process/index.php

Thank you, Meghan!
